Mums & Co has big growth plans, and monetising our offering will be the key enabler to our aspirations. So we’re looking for an experienced sales and partnerships professional to drive revenue outcomes through channels: membership, referrals, content and events sponsorship. You will be responsible for growing and managing our corporate strategic partners and sponsorships in Australia, and work closely with Carrie, the co-founder/ MD of Mums & Co.

Responsibilities

● Generating strategic partnerships

● Generating sponsorship opportunities and negotiating good outcomes, including event sponsorship for the major annual Mums & Co conference Be MPowered

● Activating current IAG partnerships

● Building a B2B marketplace - an ecosystem of small business service providers

● Manage partner relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction

● Efficient budget management in line with partnership servicing ratios

● Manage events and other partnership deliverables end-to-end

● Relationship management and regular reporting to ensure clarity on delivery status with partners (aligned to expectations and budget)

● Achieve Sales Targets and provide insights on key metrics which are driving success

● Develop a strong Sales Plan for Mums & Co to achieve its revenue targets

● Generate sales leads for membership, referrals, content and events sponsorship

● Manage the Sales Plan - testing and iterating on the strategy ongoing

● Effectively manage your sales pipeline, with accurate forecasting, sales systems and processes

● Work closely and collaboratively with team members You will own the revenue outcomes for Mums & Co for memberships, referrals, content and events sponsorship. The stakeholders you’ll be selling to are CEOs/Marketing/Sponsorship Managers of companies which provide services and products targeted at small business owners. We currently offer preferred suppliers such as legal services, HR, Marketing etc and are looking to build commercial arrangements to link to their services.

Success in this role will be measured by:

● Revenue targets achieved

● The health of the weighted Sales Pipeline

● Meeting activity

● Referrals revenue

● Content revenue

● Event sponsorship revenue

● Efficient partner management, measured by positive partner feedback

● The Mums & Co ecosystem size and quality of partners

● Value derived from strategic collaborations / partnership projects

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

We’re looking for someone who loves to build a business through sales, who loves to launch new offerings and take them to market, and who loves hitting sales goals!

● Extensive partnership management experience

● Clear understanding of the role sponsorship and strategic partnerships, within the marketing mix, and how to aid partners to make the most of the investment they have made in Mums & Co

● Demonstrated issues management capability, managing challenges and reaching resolution when faced with partner dis-satisfaction

● Experience delivering sponsorship events and leverage activities to a high standard

● A desire to scope out small and large businesses to understand their needs and propose our partnership as solutions

● Experience in, and a desire to be, the face of the business in a partnerships and sales role

● Strong capability to put together well crafted proposals which are tailored, polished and professional

● An ability to manage the pipeline, clients and growth opportunities autonomously

● A track record of strong sales performance

● Strong experience in business development - with related products / services
