We are looking for multiple Data Scientists to join our team in New Zealand to contribute to the delivery of customer centric, data driven and digitally enabled IAG products and services.

Our data science team delivers data driven insights and thought leadership, leveraging the Group’s vast bank of customer-centric information and turning it into value-adding business decisions.

We are looking for high performing data scientists of all levels with the following skills and attributes:

• Mathematics, Actuarial, Data Science or other analytical degree 
• Welcomes challenges and embraces opportunity
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strives for continued learning and development
• Innovative; think outside the box mentality
• Confident verbal and written communication skills; turning complexity into simple advice
• Well-rounded person 
• Strong written and verbal communications;

• Open to self-learn new technologies and plug them in delivering quicker, faster & cost- effective solutions;
• Experience with agile development;
• Ability to operate autonomously; and
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
