ABOUT US:
Angus Knight is a group of employment services companies who help people who are at disadvantage to get a job. Disadvantage may be experienced in the form of physical or mental disability, Australians who are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, people who may have a criminal conviction.
Angus Knight partners with the Australian Government to deliver these services as a for profit, for purpose venture.
As a result of winning numerous Government tenders, the structure of the company is complex. There are 13 operating companies, some of which are joint ventures. The Angus Knight website (attempts) to explain this – and ironically will be one of the first projects this role needs to attend to.

FLEXIBLE WORKNG
We believe that this newly created role can operate successfully on a flexible working basis. The successful candidate will be able to negotiate with the Head of Marketing as to the best combination of contact hours in the Sydney CBD office and working from home. Given the programmatic nature of the content rollout ie weekly/monthly/quarterly outputs, it will be important that the Communications Manager receives a clear brief and checks for understanding but is otherwise able to work remotely to produce the content elements.
The successful candidate will undertake a company induction and brand immersion process so that core information and key relationships can be established, and set up the role for success.
