Product Manager


The Role  

You will join Poncho, a connected but separate division in IAG. It is an end-to-end business with a mission to disrupt the industry and be an accelerator for the wider IAG business. As part of a small, fast-paced team you will help to launch new products using the latest insurtech approaches and technologies, including the emerging PrevenTech field. We are data-driven & collaborative, take calculated risks, and are obsessed with our customers and continually improving how we work. 

As our Junior Product Marketing Manager at Poncho you will take ownership of key customer growth metrics that drive the success of our insurance products, creating and executing digital and real-world campaigns to achieve business goals. 


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Ideate, plan and execute new marketing campaigns, both online and offline 
  • Work with product managers, business analysts, business stakeholders and designers to deliver results at speed 

  • Create Agile user stories and work with developers to get the most out of technical build work 

  • Research customer need, buying criteria, buying habits and customer experience 

  • Tell the story of the product, define benefits to customers, point of difference in market and value to the business 


Skills & Experience 

  • Experience within a start-up environment would be highly advantageous

  • Previous experience working in a Product Manager role with a focus on customer growth 

  • Analytical - We want to know what works based on numbers and strive for constant improvement and refinement. 

  • Experimentation - You will be curious and consistent experimenter who won’t give up till the data says you need to  

  • Fast Learner – The marketing world is constantly changing; we need you to be on top of new techniques and what can help us 

  • Copywriting and optimising content for sales funnels 

  • Strong writing and communication skills 

  • Ability to work autonomously 

  • Experience managing SEM, SEO, & Social advertising 

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment in cross-functional teams. 

  • Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence 

  • Experience with A/B testing tools and analysis 

  • Experience editing photos & video campaign assets
