About the Role

The GPG Group are seeking a talented marketing generalist to deliver a marketing strategy and run the execution of campaigns and marketing planning across GPG brands, incorporating also support for a new product and brand which has been developed during COVID in the ready gourmet meal category.

The role will work closely with the GPG core management team, venue teams and external partners to ideate marketing activity that engages customers, drives strong reach and increases engagement and connection with brands under the group umbrella. 

The role will require this marketing lead to blend insights and creativity to place the customer at the centre of decision-making and deliver against key business metrics in a new phase of growth and rebuilding in the hospitality and event industry.

Key Criteria

  • Ability to amplify growth by increasing brand awareness, driving leads, developing sales incentives, managing digital marketing, social engagement and implementation of paid campaigns.
  • Hands on ability to work across eDMS / email marketing as well as developing plans to utilise the Group's hospitality venues and databases to grow sales. 
  • Demonstrated experience using Facebook Business Manager, Ad Manager and Creator Studio.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, content curation, storytelling and community management.
  • Demonstrated experience using data and insights to drive strategic decision making.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, email marketing and social media.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with strong attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker with a Customer First and results oriented mind set.

Initially, we are interested in discussing a 3 month part-time / contract engagement with view to potentially extend for the right candidate who can deliver on key metrics.
