If you have extensive experience in business development, customer acquisition, and digital marketing, we'd love to hear from you. We’re looking for a flexible and versatile marketer who will be responsible for the growth of our inbound and outbound sales channels.


Responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and testing opportunities for growth, and then writing and executing a plan to achieve said growth.

This role exists at the intersection of product development and (digital) marketing. The Growth Manager uses data, market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning; assesses opportunities, defines and oversees the creation of new products; reports marketing and sales results to senior executives.

General Responsibilities

- Define the growth plan, coordinate and execute growth programs, optimize the revenue funnel
- Prioritize growth-specific product improvements, and new product development
- Use data, marketing, and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
- Determine which layers of the customer acquisition funnel growth initiatives should be focused on
- Select key performance indicators and help quantify and understand progress against customer acquisition goals
- Provide customer insights by blending data with an understanding of customer needs, habits, and perceptions developed through customer feedback
- Build strategic relationships and partnerships with key industry players, agencies and vendors
- In addition to customer acquisition, focus on activation, retention, and upsell

Select Specific Responsibilities

- Manage ad agency relationship, providing oversight and guidance on paid media campaigns to achieve customer acquisition targets
- Liaise with sales, product development, talent, finance, and customer service teams to align all functions to a shared growth objective
- Spearhead new product development in collaboration with researchers, writers, and course instructors
- Iterate on existing sales funnels (e.g. webinars), and develop new ones (e.g. online summits)
- Iterate on web design/functionality in concert with designers and developers
- Leverage existing channels and tools (blog, newsletter, affiliate program, partnerships) to generate leads in a cost-effective manner

Skills and Requirements

- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years experience in related work
- Oral and written communication skills, presentation strengths, problem-solving skills, ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, leadership skills
- Be fluent across the full spectrum of acquisition channels (owned, paid, earned media)
- Exhibit creativity, strategic thinking, leadership, and statistical reasoning
- Demonstrable experience in digital marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading cross channel marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Wicked Reports) and CRMs (e.g. Infusionsoft)
- Preferred: Experience in either the health coach or general health industries
