Your Call is looking for a Frontend Developer to join a new team and help build not only new products, but also to help create a diverse, inclusive and high performing product team.

Your Call is a world leader in the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) industry and was Australia’s first online whistle blowing solution for enterprise customers.

The Role

We’re looking for someone with experience working as a frontend React developer, ideally having worked on SaaS products. This could be your chance to make an impact!

This role reports to the Principal Engineer and works alongside the Head of Product.

At Your Call, as a Frontend Developer you will:

• Play a large role in creating a brand-new product, using cutting edge technology.
• Contribute to internal standards for front-end development.
• Collaborate with senior leaders.
• Play a major part in implementing all aspects of the frontend stack.
• Be mentored by senior team members.
• Contribute to creating a diverse culture that encourages feelings of belonging.
• Play a meaningful part in achieving Your Call’s mission of eliminating work-place wrong doing.
• You will be working closely with a Senior Frontend Developer.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• The desire to create software that you can be proud of.
• 1-2 years ReactJS experience.
• Experience with React Hooks
• Proficiency or interest in Typescript
• Experience with CSS-in-JS ie. styled-components
• Experience with a testing framework ie. Jest, react-testing-library, etc.
• Basic professional experience working with NodeJS.
• A sound understanding of how to faithfully translate a design into functional software.
• Worked collaboratively with UX teams
• Interpreted business goals and problems and in turn offered product-based solutions.
• Worked within a SCRUM and/or Kanban team.

It’s not required but would be great if you have:

• Experience with build tools ie. Webpack, Snowpack, ESbuild, etc
• Familiarity with atomic design concepts and design systems
• A Basic understanding of A11y.
• Experience in the Serverless domain.
• Used GraphQL.
• Basic experience configuring and using AWS services
• Mobile development experience, either using native development environments or React native.
• Been exposed to User Experience design and research.
