JOB DESCRIPTION

Ento are on the hunt for a seasoned Product Manager to iterate and expand on their awesome product offerin. You will design new features and capabilities to deliver an intelligent, automated and highly interoperable WFM platform.

This is an incredibly collaborative role that will see you liaising with a broad range of Ento teams - from our engineers, to the customer success team, to our CEO.

You will own the Product Experience from start to finish, taking product ideas from conception through to delivery and into our customer’s hands!

About Ento

Ento is a Melbourne based SaaS start-up building a workforce success platform that enables enterprises to automate, engage, optimise and succeed with their large shift-based workforces.

The industry we exist in is inherently complex but the market demands simplicity. Our product team thrives on this challenge by balancing flexibility and power with speed and beauty.

About you

Action orientated, you’re solution-focused and love collaborating with others to unpack problems before designing elegant product solutions.

You know it’s not done until it’s in a customer's hands and you’re an expert at managing projects to ensure they are completed to the standard initially envisioned.

You’ve mastered the art of stakeholder management and know how to keep everyone involved updated, in the loop and across the level of detail each requires.

Ento: the approach to flexible work

Ento offer the option to work a compressed fortnight. This means you work slightly longer days (8.4 hours) over nine days so that every second Friday is an RDO. That’s right - three day weekend every other week! But if a ‘normal’ 10 day working week suits you better that’s also a-ok by us!

If you love your home setup, you can work from home at least 50% of the time. You’ll always have a desk in the office, but outside of two days each week you’ll be free to work from home should you wish.

Like flexibility to drop off kids? Or maybe early mornings just aren’t your thing! We’re all about that. We have core hours where the whole team is working, we aim to have our meetings during this time so the rest can be focus time, but outside of that you can start and finish when you please.

The team also recognise that everyone is a little different and sometimes you’ll need flexible arrangements that suit your situation and will happily discuss your needs.

The role.

    • Strategised with the tech leadership team on planning for future product discovery and delivery
    • Collaborated with engineers on day-to-day delivery to validate business and customer value of the work we are doing
    • Run workshops with the team to understand how Ento can enter new international markets
    • Validated product concepts with stakeholders and engineers to gauge feasibility
    • Facilitated conversations with Ento customers to help build an ongoing understanding of needs and pain points
    • Engaged with Ento partners on how to build compelling integrations for our shared customer base
    • Worked with our marketing and Customer Success teams to ensure features are launched and adopted
    • Celebrated wins with the rest of the Tech team at the end of sprint retro!

Your background

    • Experience working with a complex digital product or tech platform
    • You have a customer-centric mindset with an ability to deliver people-centric solutions - balanced with keen commercial acumen and awareness of balancing trade-offs
    • Experience working with Agile/Lean delivery teams to scope and understand problems
    • High attention to detail and a data driven approach to assessing problems
    • Experience with reporting & program management (prioritised work, project management)
    • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, and confidence working with all levels of a business (both internally and externally)
    • Ability to facilitate a meeting / discussion to help a group work to an understanding or outcome.

What's on offer

    • Trust – we’ll back you and trust you to deliver. You'll get to work autonomously while knowing the support is there if you need it
    • Work on real, meaty problems that help our customers run better businesses and impact the working experience of thousands of Australians
    • We take wellness seriously and we’re proactive in our approach - offering all employees a budget to use towards things that support their wellness.
    • Opportunities to learn and develop - you’ll work with smart and capable people and have access to 20 hours of leave per year to focus on your professional development - combined with a budget to fund the courses / conferences or training you want to attend!
