Lendi Group operates a multi-brand strategy across Aussie Home Loans and Lendi, pulling together a truly personalised home loans experience for the Australian audience that balances both human support and smart technology - they are looking for an experienced People Partner.

The purpose of the People Operations and Partnering team is to:

● Deliver professional and consistent people advisory and initiatives across Lendi Group, providing divisional context.

● Fly the flag for the divisions when designing group wide initiatives and frameworks

The purpose of the People Partner position is to partner with divisional leaders, building critical context in their divisional group, to become their trusted advisor on all people and culture related initiatives and challenges across the employee lifecycle, including organisational design, workforce planning, team effectiveness, leadership development, talent management, succession planning and cultivating culture. People Partners coach people leaders to become increasingly more effective at leading, managing and developing their teams. This is a player-coach role, partnering with a People Operations Coordinator to provide coaching and career pathing as a HR generalist. 

Position Purpose

You will partner with leaders both strategically and operationally to build and support their organisations and ensure operational excellence and effective people advisory. Our People Partners build critical context in our business divisions to become their trusted advisor on all people and culture related initiatives and challenges across the employee lifecycle, including organisational design, workforce planning, team effectiveness, leadership development, talent management, succession planning and cultivating culture. You will coach people leaders to become increasingly more effective at leading, managing and developing their teams

Position Responsibilities

Partner with divisional leaders, building critical context in their divisional group, to become their trusted advisor on all people and culture related initiatives and challenges across the employee lifecycle, including organisational design, workforce planning, team effectiveness, leadership development, talent management, succession planning and cultivating culture.

● Become a critical strategic member of your business division, developing a deep understanding of their business challenges and growth opportunities

● Work with your business leaders to build a highly engaged and effective division, partnering with them on key priorities such as organisation design, workforce planning, team effectiveness, engagement, leadership development, talent management, and cultivating culture.

● Coach people leaders to become increasingly more effective at leading, managing and developing their teams.

● Actively contribute to building a world class people strategy enabling the divisions to achieve their objectives, whilst contributing your unique insights from a strategic HR perspective.

● Delivery of HR support, coaching and advisory across the employee lifecycle in relation to people, culture and experience.

● Be the voice of the business in the design phase of Lendi Group company-wide people experience and culture programs and initiatives.

● Contribute to the continuous development and optimisation of people policies, systems and procedures to reflect market best practice and legislative requirements, and ensure they grow as we do.

Position Requirements - Capabilities

Experienced HR practitioner - minimum 3-5 years generalist experience

● Strong current working knowledge of employment legislation, awards and agreements

● Understanding of all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, performance, coaching and development

● Proven ability to build partner relationships and work collaboratively.

● Data-driven, decision-maker and pragmatic problem solver who can find root causes of issues and gain leadership support to address them

● Experience using an HRIS

● Working knowledge of people policies, processes and practices and experience building and optimising these

● Strong commercial business acumen

● Ideally experience within banking, financial services, fintech or related

● Demonstrated experience working successfully in an agile environment

● Previous experience with change, ideally mergers and acquisitions

Key Responsibilities

● Work closely with Lendi Group people leaders to support across the employee lifecycle including organisational design, recruitment, performance, remuneration, retention, and enabling the delivery of their strategies through people.

● Become a critical strategic member of your business division, developing a deep understanding of their business challenges and growth opportunities

● Work with your business leaders to build a highly engaged and effective division, partnering with them on key priorities such as organisation design, workforce planning, team effectiveness, engagement, leadership development, talent management, and cultivating culture

● Coach people leaders to become increasingly more effective at leading, managing and developing their teams.

● Actively contribute to building a world class people strategy enabling the divisions to achieve their objectives, whilst contributing your unique insights from a strategic people perspective

● Delivery of people support, coaching and advisory across the employee lifecycle in relation to people, culture and experience

● Be the voice of the business in the design phase of Lendi Group company-wide people experience and culture programs and initiatives

● Contribute to the continuous development and optimisation of people policies, systems and procedures to reflect market best practice and legislative requirements, and ensure they grow as we do.

● Contribute to creating and optimising policies, guides and processes that will enable Lendi Group to reflect market best practice and legislative requirements which scale and grow effectively as we do

● Drive People projects and the implementation of Experience & Culture strategic goals

● Deliver effective and timely HR advice to people leaders and team members regarding People policies, procedures, legislative guidelines and employee relations issues

. ● Collaborate to design the People Dashboard and deliver key monthly and quarterly reports, detailing People Operations metrics to drive people related decisions.

● Support the implementation and ongoing management of performance, remuneration and benefits frameworks and programs

. ● Develop and update people policies and procedures 

● Collaborate with finance to ensure effective payroll integration and payroll processing

● Collaborate to ensure the effective implementation of the HRIS and people platforms and automation of people processes to deliver operational excellence. Our ideal candidate profile

● Background in tech, fintech, disrupter financial services, SaaS or similar

● Minimum 5 years HR business partnering experience across the employee lifecycle in growing and scaling businesses

● Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline

● Both strategic and operational - you can see the big picture and you also know how to operationalise it

● Ability to thrive in a fast-moving fluid environment requiring you to synthesise lots of complex information and to come up with solutions with tangible impact.
